With the 2020 Queensland Music Awards (QMAs) taking place in Brisbane Tuesday 3 March, preparation is well underway to transform the Fortitude Valley's Fortitude Music Hall.

To ensure the 2020 QMAs look and sound world-class, we’ve partnered with some of the best in the industry! After the success of last year’s ceremony, Staging Dimensions has returned to help stage the event with their décor and lighting bringing the room to life. Celebrating 30 years in the industry, they have the expertise to take the 2020 QMAs to new heights. Running Boards will also be on ground providing large-scale LED screens ensuring an entrance not to be forgotten. You may have seen advertising for the QMAs on their fleet of mobile screens circling around Brisbane’s music hot spots in the past weeks.

QMusic is proud to be mentoring and working alongside the next generation of the Queensland music industry with JMC Academy students assisting in stage production, event management and the filming and live streaming of the 2020 QMAs, taking the event production and partnership to the next level.

With the Awards hosting performances from Cub Sport, Busby Marou, Jaguar Jonze and Order Sixty6, we’re grateful to have partnered with APRA AMCOS, who are presenting the award for Album Of The Year. Supporting artists both on and off-stage, APRA AMCOS help music creators get paid for their work both recorded and live as royalties keep the music coming and ensure the industry’s future.
